Order mishandled

Never received the actual order I placed.

When I went to the location in St Bruno, the team there had never received the order and managed to put together based on what was in stock.

But this did not include any raspberry (framboise) cakepop

Hi Mr Sullivan, many thanks for your feedback. We are taking note of it and without trying to find any excuses, you came at 3.30pm while in your order you had specified a pick up time between 1 and 2pm.

The reason why we request our customer to set a pick up time is to ensure that someone within our small team is aware of orders to be picked up. The person in charge on that day had to leave at 2pm for a medical appointment and due to the shortage of staff and another staff member being sick on that day, there were just 2 people left in the team and both of them are bakers who do not deal with customer service. Your order was prepared but placed in another place (we have 4 cold rooms and 3 freezer units). The baker who served you tried her best to arrange something but she just had been hired 1 month ago and the other baker is a Ukrainian refugee who also just started within the company and is still learning french.

We apologise if you had a bad experience. If you did not have the equivalent of the cakepops you ordered, please let us know by email and will gladly arrange to have them prepared for you. This unfortunate occurrence just shows how important it is for small company like us for customer to show up at the appointment time they have chosen during the booking process and advise us if there are any delays. We often have customers who do not show up on the day they booked an appointment, we have sometimes stayed hours overtime to wait for them with no show up. Our policy now is to wait till the appointment time and then move on your the rest of our schedule.

We thank you for your feedback and understanding and hope you will give us a chance to amend for the inconvenience caused by contacting us directly. You could also have contacted us directly right after the event and you would have had a resolution the day itself as your order was just placed somewhere else...
